I continue to make progress on my project list for the year… and continue to get sidetracked! Much of my time has been spent on my Saturate and Find Your Fade shawls. Saturate is all done being knit, I now need to block and add the fringe. For my Find Your Fade, I’m almost to the final color! I do expect both to be done this month, I can’t wait to share.
In the meantime, a few other quick projects I knit up as a break from the massive ones:
Hats! Knit all the hats! I have knit 4 in recent months, however only currently have pictures of 2 with me (currently in Austin for work):
The first one is Ready Steady knit in Hedgehog Fibres Chubby. I used a “fade” technique instead of straight color-blocking. See my project page on Ravelry for more details. I think I may add a fun faux fur pompom. The other hat is Chunkeanie knit in Noro Silk Garden. I bought this yarn forever ago thinking it would be perfect for a hat for my husband, I finally made it! The other two were the Frosting Hat as part of Expedition Yarnscout and the 21 Color Slouch for my mom knit during international flights earlier this year.
This is a really great light, airy shawl. I highly recommend this knit.
Thinking towards fall, I knit this super cute cape for my daughter, I think I could easily upsize this for myself! This is the Riyver Cape
Isn’t it so classic looking? I absolutely love it.
I have a few other items to share, however they are well deserving of their own post! Some very chunky and fun knits on the way. I even have an easy pattern I wrote up to share very soon. More to come!
